Cocoa Training
Programming for Mac OS X
dreamteam events offers Cocoa training in cooperation with the Big Nerd Ranch, Atlanta. Aaron Hillegass, founder of the Big Nerd Ranch and well known in the Cocoa community worldwide, instructs the class in this intensive five day training.
The last training took place from May 2nd to May 6th, 2005 at Kloster Eberbach, in the lovely Rheingau area near Wiesbaden.

What you will learn
Upon completion of the course, the student will:
- Be able to write complex applications for Mac OS X
- Be fluent in Objective-C
- Have mastery of Interface Builder and Xcode
- Be able to find and understand the online documentation
- Have experience with the most common classes in the frameworks
- Have a clear understanding of the design patterns used in Cocoa
- Be able to recognize several common idioms of the Cocoa community
Pre-Requisites
Cocoa training assumes that the student already knows an object-oriented language like Java or C++. Students are not expected to have any experience programming Macs before. The class is intensive, and the student should be prepared to work hard. We are teaching the class on Mac OS X 10.3 and Xcode. The class is taught in english by Aaron Hillegass, author of the book "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X".
What you get
Included in the registration fee of Euro 2570,-* is a five-day intensive training on Cocoa programming with Aaron Hillegass, a student guide, a luxury single room for five nights, three delicious meals a day (one non-alcoholic drink for free with each meal), coffee breaks in the morning and afternoon, free use of the sauna, the book "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X" by Aaron Hillegass, around the clock access to the trainer, transportation from and to Frankfurt International airport or Wiesbaden train station, a coffee mug and t-shirt from the Big Nerd Ranch, and a DVD of the movie "The Name of the Rose".
Plan to arrive on Sunday evening, May 1st, and depart on Friday afternoon, May, 6th.

An early bird fee of Euro 2370,-* is available for completed registrations and payments before March 24th, 2005. Reduced pricing is available for groups.
